Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers numerous possibilities and can be utilized as our digital colleague in various contexts. We see that AI can serve as a digital partner and provide inspiration for various development tasks or when tasks need to commence, for instance, when developing your pre- and onboarding programs or rethinking the recruitment process. It is essential to remember that AI is not familiar with your organization, culture, workflows, employee group, needs, etc. Additionally, there may be areas and topics that AI does not highlight but are important to you. Therefore, we recommend that if you use AI, use AI’s input as a starting point that you can build upon.

Below, you can see the result when we ask ChatGPT to create a good onboarding program.

Step 1: Planning

  1. Identify the target audience: Understand the different roles and needs in your organization to tailor the onboarding process to each group.
  2. Define goals and success criteria: Clearly define what you want to achieve with onboarding, such as rapid productivity, cultural integration, or employee engagement.
